Anita P

Someone who helped my professional development: When I began working many years ago, Kay S was my Unit Manager and Martha A was my Charge Nurse. They were wonderful, experienced nurses whom I deeply respected and looked to for guidance. Once they retired, I began working with Anne K in the CME/Medical Library Department. She is a wonderful Director who has influenced my life and made such a difference. Anne expects excellence in all that we do! Therefore, we work hard to provide great service to our physicians, associates, patients, and their families.

Vicki F
Clinical Supervisor, Behavioral Health Outpatient service, Hammond Drive, Atlanta, Ga.

35 Years at Northside

Why I Stayed at Northside: When I first walked into Northside in 1984, I had no idea that Northside would become my long-term professional home. I can honestly say, I cherished every day I came to work. From day one, Northside’s core values aligned with my professional ethics and values.

Someone who helped my professional development:  I was fortunate to work with our Mental Health Medical Director, Dr. Patrick Malone, who worked for Northside for 30 years. Dr. Malone taught and modeled the importance of presence, compassion and clinical directness in supporting a patient’s healing and personal growth. He was a brilliant teacher and made an indelible impression on me as a person, psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. His gifts are the “gifts that keep on giving.”

Advice to Job Seekers: If you are motivated by our core values, appreciate working on highly skilled teams, want to practice with an evidence-based approach, and want an exciting career with a professional place to belong, grow and develop, then I would definitely note Northside as the top place to work.
