Position Description
Responsible for inventory management and control, inventory software maintenance and procedural /program updates. Inventory build, product receiving, inventory balancing between satellites, inventory & chart audits. Reconciles insurance filing, inventory management system and vendor invoices with CAP transactions. Responsible for researching insurance denials, insurance charging/coding functions, transaction-cash balancing for daily deposits, shipping out inventory and invoice preparation. Generates reports related to monthly and annual inventory control, patient accounts, transactions, and chart audits.
Position Requirements
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- Associates degree in Business Administration or related field OR three (3) years of directly related experience in bookkeeping, inventory management or in a related healthcare environment.
- Possess strong analytical skills and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in the use of personal computer, accounting or inventory software, data processing and Excel.
- Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, exercise independent judgment, attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.
- Current BLS card (CPR).
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
- CAP software or inventory management experience.
- Insurance billing or accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Computer Science/Information Technology.
