Position Description
Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Initial Qualifications |
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography (ARRT) (S). OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) When in Cardiac Departments only
|
|
Requirements for Sonographer or Mammography Technologist – Breast Ultrasound |
|
|
Initial Qualifications |
ARDMS certification and current registration, or ARRT post-primary certification and current registration in breast sonography, or ARRT certification and current registration and MQSA qualified AND 5 CEUs specific to breast ultrasound Certified in Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or obtain within 90 days of employment |
