Job Details
Position Description
Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography and vascular ultrasound tests on the adult and geriatric patient population. Responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac and vascular ultrasound in accordance with IAC. Travel and work in multiple locations to include hospitals and/or physician offices. Position requires a class ‘C’ driver’s license.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED
- An appropriate credential in echocardiography:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada
- Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- Valid class ‘C’ driver’s license
PREFERRED
- Graduate from an accredited School of Ultrasound Technology
- Prior professional experience in mobile ultrasound
