2025 was an exciting year at Northside Hospital, full of positive changes, dramatic growth and new career opportunities. And all of these achievements were made in the service of a singular mission – to expand our caring capabilities for every person who walks through our doors. We’re thrilled to share some of the highlights of this eventful year, and we invite you to come along with us on our journey in the new year.
Gwinnett Expansion
A lot has happened at Northside Gwinnett this year as we continue to grow our facilities and expand our clinical capabilities. The new Gwinnett Tower floors will open in phases starting December 2025, with built-in pauses to allow leadership to evaluate Northside Gwinnett’s needs and make informed decisions regarding the timeline. The current schedule is shown below. Please continue to check with us for the latest schedule and timing of the Tower opening.

Be part of the Gwinnett Expansion!
School of Radiography Opening
In keeping with Northside’s commitment to career development, 2025 saw the launch of the Northside Hospital School of Radiography. The School offers an 18-month certificate program that combines dedicated classroom education and hands-on clinical instruction to prepare participants for a rewarding career in radiography services. Upon successful completion of the program and ARRT registration, participants can begin a career in radiology at Northside.
An Award-Winning Year
At Northside, we’re dedicated to providing our employees with an empowering, inspiring and rewarding place to work. We’re honored that several prestigious organizations took notice of our remarkable workplace.
It started when we received Great Place to Work Certification™. This award is especially gratifying as it is based on employee surveys and feedback. Knowing that our employees love and appreciate working at Northside makes it all worthwhile.
We’re proud that Comparably, a leading workplace culture and compensation monitoring site, also recognized Northside Hospital for Best Company Compensation and Best Company Culture. This accolade clearly reflects our commitment to recognizing and rewarding our people for their abilities and incredibly important contributions to the success of Northside.
Also in 2025, Forbes named Northside Hospital One of America’s Best Companies – and THE highest-ranked hospital organization on its list. “This ranking is a direct reflection of the talent and dedication of our employees,” noted Bridget Green, Northside Hospital’s Vice President of Human Resources. “Our people deserve this recognition.” In addition, we’re grateful to have appeared on Forbes’ lists of America’s Best Employers by State and America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals.
In addition to being deeply satisfying, these awards motivate us to continue pursuing and implementing strategies and tactics to further elevate and deepen our inspiring, collaborative and empowering culture.
The Growing Northside Family
As the scope of our services and capabilities grew, so did the career opportunities available at Northside. In fact, we made 14,293 new hires in 2025. As remarkable as that number is, we’re even prouder of the fact that 6,274 of these new hires were internal through growth and internal mobility. In addition, 2025 saw our Talent Community play a bigger role in our hiring process with an 8.7 percent employment conversion rate for Talent Community members. Joining the Talent Community can also give you an edge in your pursuit of a career with Northside Hospital by sending you personalized career opportunities based on your unique profile.
A Bright Future for Imaging Professionals
At Northside, we’re committed to the ongoing advancement of our people. In December of 2025, we launched our CT Fellowship Program. This 22-week paid professional development initiative enables 10 radiology technologists to enhance their specialized skills so they can expand their career horizons in diagnostic imaging.
The Year Ahead
2025 was just the beginning. Here’s what we’re working on in 2026:

-The introduction of myNorthsideCareer, an internal portal that provides Northside employees with insights on career evolution, career navigation, tools, resources and learning opportunities to grow their career with Northside.
-The upcoming launch of Career Pathways for nursing professionals. We have additional plans to expand Career Pathways for allied health, non-clinical, and leadership professionals.
