Position Description
Directs and supervises Respiratory Care and/or Pulmonary Diagnostic lab activities on assigned shift. May perform the duties of a Respiratory Therapist and work with neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or other health related field with two (2) years’ of experience as Respiratory Therapist
OR
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy with four (4) years’ experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Must hold BCLS,ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification through the American Heart Association.
PREFERRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
