Helping others is the foundation of everything we do at Northside. It’s the underlying motivation for our jobs and one of the main reasons we come to work every day. And it goes further than just helping others at work.
Northsiders have earned a well-deserved reputation for making a difference in the communities where we live and work, and not just because of their medical skills. All of our staff members care deeply about their neighbors here, and many show it through countless and selfless acts of volunteerism every day.
Nowhere was that more apparent than on Aug. 11, when more than 200 members of the Northside Family turned out for our annual Day of Giving. In Atlanta, Canton and Cumming, our team members picked their charities of choice and spent the Saturday doing whatever they could to help.
Organized by the Northside Hospital Foundation, the Day of Giving brings together our usual volunteer efforts into a single celebration that we all hope will make our communities better places to live for everyone.
Whether it was delivering meals, sorting donations or doing landscaping, Northsiders – and many of their families and friends – showed up to show how deep the volunteer spirit runs here.
We’re grateful to everyone who gave up a part of their weekend to be part of something bigger than themselves and gave a bit of themselves to make our communities a better place to be.
That’s the Northside way!
