In addition to being the prime caregiver in the Atlanta area, Northside Hospital Healthcare System works overtime to connect with people in the community. From festivals to food tastings, from parades to parties, Northside employees love being out among the people they care for.
Maybe you caught us at the Inman Park Festival and helped find Sammy the Stork in time for the parade. Or perhaps you walked with us to fight MS and helped 42 Northsiders raise more than $4,000!
If you took part in the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute’s “Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance Ovarian Cycle,” you rode alongside 19 Northsiders who pedaled to fight cancer. That same day, another group from Northside took their talents outdoors at the “Volunteer for a Better Sandy Springs” clean-up event.
We also had a tasty time at the Food That Rocks event in Sandy Springs, which helped benefit Ian’s Friends Foundation, the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance and Second Helpings Atlanta.
And we hope you saw the Northside team paddling in the Dallas Landing Dragon Boat Festival in Acworth, helping raise money for local cancer outreach programs.
All of these activities are in addition to the numerous blood drives and rides, runs and walks that Northsiders are part of throughout this month. Every activity we do helps us help others, and builds stronger bonds between us and the residents we serve.
Northside employees not only take pride in caring for this community, they take pride in being part of it!
