Clinical Care Associate (UCS, PCT) ICU

Reporting to the ICU Manager the Clinical Care Associate will be responsible for providing nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients. Performs duties within the construct of a unit-based, self-directed, multidisciplinary patient care team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non-licensed members.

Skills/Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant course, and be listed as a CNA on the Ga. Registry, Graduate of a U.S. Military Medic course, OR Enrolled in a School of Nursing and has completed one (1) full semester of clinical rotations.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Medical Degree program.
  • One year patient care experience in an acute care setting.
  • Current BLS card (CPR).
