Clinical Supervisor GI Medicine and Surgery

Reporting to the GI Medicine and Surgery Manager the Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for providing direct patient care and supervising the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24 hour nursing responsibility. Works with a GI Medical patient population.

Skills/Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. One (1) year of experience in nursing.

Demonstrated ability to set priorities and make appropriate clinical and supervisory decisions.

Must possess good problem solving skills.

Successful completion of a management course prior to appointment, or within six (6) months of employment.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
